Vivo V60 Arrives in Malaysia, Featuring Advanced ZEISS Cameras and Long-Lasting Battery
While it shares some similarities with its predecessor, the V50, the new Vivo V60 brings enough upgrades to stand out. The device is now launching globally, making its first appearance in markets including Malaysia, Taiwan, and Vietnam. A major focus this time is the camera system, developed in partnership with ZEISS, which includes a high-resolution 50 MP Super Telephoto lens.

At the heart of the imaging system is Sony’s IMX882 sensor, designed to capture clear details even from a distance. Beyond photography, the V60 also offers a more durable build and supports ultra-fast charging, making it a well-rounded contender in the mid-range segment.
A Triple Camera System Powered by ZEISS
The standout feature of the Vivo V60 is undoubtedly its camera. The collaboration with ZEISS—a legendary name in optical engineering—is central to the phone’s identity. Paired with Sony’s IMX882 sensor, the triple rear setup includes a 50 MP ZEISS OIS main camera with a wide f/1.88 aperture, a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto lens with OIS and f/2.65 aperture for enhanced zoom, and an 8 MP ZEISS ultra-wide shooter with a 120° field of view.
Around the front, a 50 MP ZEISS selfie camera with autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture makes it ideal for group selfies and high-quality video calls.

The V60 itself sports a sleek and modern design. Its tall form factor is complemented by a flat glass front and an expansive display surrounded by slim bezels. A small centered punch-hole cutout houses the front camera.
The back panel features a subtle matte metallic gray finish. On the upper left sits a slightly raised oval camera module, housing two prominent lenses stacked vertically with the ZEISS branding placed between them. A third sensor and a circular flash sit alongside, completing the minimalist and functional layout.
Vivid Display and Durability
The V60 features a quad-curved AMOLED display with a 2392 × 1080 resolution and HDR10+ certification. With a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, the screen remains visible even in bright sunlight. The 41-degree curvature on all four edges is designed for ergonomic comfort, reducing hand strain during extended use.
Durability is another strong suit. The phone carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning it can survive submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for two hours and resist high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. A One-Tap Water Ejection feature helps clear moisture from the speakers after exposure to water.
Strong Performance and All-Day Battery
Under the hood, the V60 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and 12 GB of RAM—expandable by an additional 12 GB virtually. Storage options go up to 512 GB. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15.

Powering everything is a substantial 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery supported by 90W FlashCharge technology, which can provide hours of use with just a few minutes of charging. Features like Bypass Charging help manage heat, while Super Battery Saver mode aims to prolong battery health for up to four years.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V60 is now available through official channels in several color options: Berry Purple, Ocean Blue, Summer Blue, Desert Gold, and Mist Gray. The Ocean Blue model features a unique Sapphire Tide finish that mimics flowing water.
Pricing starts at approximately $478 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant, though early promotions may offer discounts. Final pricing and specifications may vary by region.
